I burned out in corporate America. Not dramatically, but quietly, over time, in the way that sneaks up on you when you are giving everything to your career and running on fumes everywhere else.

I was leading teams, building systems, scaling technology across some of the largest companies in the world. By every professional measure, I was succeeding. But at home, I was failing at the basics. I went two years without seeing a doctor. My car registration lapsed. I had a gym membership I never used. The things that should have been simple, the things that keep a life running, kept falling through the cracks because I had nothing left to give by the time I got home.

And the frustrating part was that I knew exactly how to fix it. I had spent my entire career engineering systems that allowed organizations to run efficiently, reliably, and without constant oversight. I had just never applied that thinking to my own life.

That’s why I built hom.
